Saturday School of Community Languages PDF Print E-mail

The NSW Departnent of Education’s Saturday School of Community Languages (SSCL)

informs the Greek Community of Sydney and NSW, parents and students, that it offers, free of charge, Modern Greek Junior classes for Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and Modern Greek Senior classes for Years 11 and 12, including HSC level (Continuers and Extension courses)  at the following Saturday School High School Centres:

Saturday School of Community Languages:

  • Arthur Phillip High School, Parramatta
  • Ashfield Boys High School
  • Bankstown Girls High School
  • Chatswood High School
  • Hills Sports High School, Seven Hills
  • St George Girls High School, Kogarah
  • Liverpool Boys’ High School
as well as
  • Merewether High School, Newcastle and
  • Smiths Hill High School, Wollongong

 


Parents and students who are interested must apply through their Day School (Monday-Friday) Government or Non-Government school, obtain from the principal or Front Office and complete the “Saturday School Application for Enrolment for new student 2010” before the 20th February to secure a position at their closest Saturday School of Community Languages High School Centre.

 

Students are then notified at their Day school of their confirmation of enrolment and must turn up at their Saturday School Centre on the date as specified on their white Confirmation of Acceptance Form.

Information can be also obtained by visiting the above Saturday School High School Centres on Saturday mornings as well as ringing the Saturday School of Community Languages’ Principal Ms Adelia Fuller or the Deputy Principal Ms Maria Lomis on 9886 7505,
Monday to Friday, business hours.
